Tawd Valley Developments (TVD) – the wholly owned development arm of West Lancashire Borough Council – has been appointed ‘master developer’ of the scheme.
Its proposals for Skelmersdale town centre have now been approved and TVD has also been appointed to deliver a new eco-business park with Caddick awarded the first contract.
Council Leader Yvonne Gaten said: “This Masterplan is not just ambitious, it’s practical, deliverable and rooted in what matters most to our residents.
“By working with TVD, we’re ensuring the Council remains firmly in the driving seat. Residents’ interests will stay front and centre as we move from planning to delivery.”
TVD’s £14m Junction 4 scheme at White Moss Business Park, just off the M58, will deliver 45 environmentally friendly and flexible business units ranging between 150m2 and 321m2.
Caddick will start in June and complete in phases up to December 2026.
